Abstract Mounting research indicates that circRNAs are pivotal elements in tumorigenesis and progression. Understanding the mechanisms by which function tumors is crucial for identifying undiscovered diagnostic treatment targets. This centers on unraveling novel circRNA, circFADS1, influences hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) CircFADS1 shows elevated expression HCC linked to unfavorable prognosis. Functionally, circFADS1 overexpression accelerates progression through inducing proliferation inhibited apoptosis. Mechanistically, RNA‐seq analysis demonstrates its connection Wnt/β‐catenin pathway. Moreover, interacts with GSK3β promotes ubiquitination degradation recruiting ubiquitin ligase RNF114 while EIF4A3 facilitates biogenesis of circFADS1. Additionally, closely lenvatinib resistance. Overall, this study reveals regulates function, influencing carcinoma. The EIF4A3/circFADS1/GSK3β/β‐catenin axis discovered hold promise as a therapeutic target carcinoma, also significant factor

Chemotherapy has long been used in the clinical management of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), driving development anticancer chemotherapy drugs. Platinum complexes have attracted significant attention and led to creation a series platinum-based drugs diverse cancer treatments, including HCC. However, use platinum faces critical challenges due drug resistance side effects. Consequently, ongoing efforts devoted continuous new metal with antitumor properties, aiming serve as effective alternatives for HCC treatment. In this Perspective, we summarize highlight progress relevant mechanisms related treatment over past decade. The potential further expand scope applications
