Abstract
Red‐emitting
CsPbI
3
perovskite
nanocrystals
(r‐PNCs)
are
considered
promising
for
device
applications
due
to
their
low
bandgap.
However,
practical
use
is
hindered
by
significant
photoluminescence
(PL)
intermittency
and
light‐induced
phase
transitions.
Specifically,
the
stable
bright
α‐phase
of
r‐PNCs
quickly
converts
into
weakly
emissive
mixed‐phase
(δ
γ)
within
hours
under
UV
irradiation.
In
absence
light,
synthesized
using
an
advanced
method
have
been
shown
maintain
brightness
over
20
days.
This
study
explores
PL
better
understand
carrier
dynamics
nature
trap
states
in
both
mixed
phases.
These
results
indicate
that
r‐PNCs,
despite
apparent
stability,
undergo
rapid
deformation
during
a
blinking
experiment,
as
evidenced
decrease
average
ON
state
intensity
trajectories
change
XRD
patterns.
Fluorescence‐lifetime‐intensity‐distribution
(FLID)
mapping
from
studies,
combined
with
fluorescence
lifetime
correlation
spectroscopy
(FLCS),
reveals
freshly
prepared
exhibit
behavior
primarily
governed
short‐lived
near
band
edge.
dynamic
function
multiple
non‐radiative
recombination
centers
(MRCs).
contrast,
light‐soaked
develop
long‐lived
deep
states,
leading
dispersive
predominantly
caused
hot
(HC)
recombination.
