Structural colors are produced by the diffraction of light from microstructures. The collective arrangement substructures is a simple and cost-effective approach for structural coloration represented colloidal self-assembly. Nanofabrication methods enable precise flexible processing individual nanostructures, but these expensive or complex. Direct integration desired remains difficult because limited resolution, material-specificity, complexity. Here, we demonstrate three-dimensional printing direct writing nanowire gratings using femtoliter meniscus polymer ink. This method combines process, coloration, at low cost. Precise demonstrated shapes. In addition, alignment-resolved selective reflection shown displayed image control color synthesis. facilitates on various substrates, including quartz, silicon, platinum, gold, films. We expect that our contribution can expand utility across disciplines such as surface-integrated strain sensors, transparent reflective displays, fiber-integrated spectrometers, anticounterfeiting, biological assays, environmental sensors.

Microprinting is changing anti-counterfeit technology by producing complex micro-/nano-scale labels to increase the security level. However, current microprinted anti-counterfeiting only contain 2D features, thought of as single coding (e.g. mostly in texts or graphs), unable satisfy high-end demands multi-coding, high-storage-density labels. Here, we introduce an approach for fluorescence printing produce a 3D colourful, sophisticated label. In method, pre-synthetic QDs are printed with photoresists based on two-photon polymerisation, allowing accurate regulation both and 3D. The fabricated exhibit immediate postprocessing-free colour emissions under UV light. The multipole interference (MPI) effect plays pivotal roles in the formation of electromagnetic responses various settings. In optics regime, it has been realized typically through Mie resonance that necessitates high‐index, deep‐subwavelength‐scale dielectric resonators are challenging to fabricate. Herein, a new, diffraction‐based MPI scheme can be with low‐index, mesoscale structures is demonstrated. It verified this “diffractive MPI” concept by realizing states using micrometric polymeric cuboids fabricated soft‐lithography. Subsequent analyses reveal distinct near‐zero forward scattering (NZFS) characteristic played crucial shaping cuboid's transmission spectrum. A hitherto unreported NZFS state, which exhibits unique, “trifolium” radiation pattern, also identified. spectral position such turns out strongly dependent on geometry. By combining these results, diffractive related important phenomena induced transparency and structural color generation.
