Abstract
The
first
asymmetric
condensation
of
prochiral
silacyclohexanones
with
hydroxylamines
by
chiral
phosphoric
acid
catalysis
has
been
developed,
which
provides
a
facile
and
straightforward
protocol
for
the
enantioselective
construction
valuable
axially
silacyclohexylidene
oxime
ethers
that
are
otherwise
inaccessible.
Notably,
this
constitutes
rare
example
accessing
silacycles
featuring
axial
chirality.

A
series
of
chiral
pincer
iridium

supported
by
oxazoline-containing
PCCN-type
ligands
were
synthesized.
Among
them,
the
(tBuPCCNtBu)IrHCl
complex
bearing
sterically
bulky
tBu
groups
both
at
P
atom
and
on
oxazoline
ring
exhibits
high
efficiency
enantioselectivity
for
asymmetric
dual
dehydrogenative
silylation
C(sp3)–H

This
reaction
provides
an
enantioselective
approach
to
oxa-spirosilanes

a
stereogenic
silicon

from
readily
available
diarylsilanes.
