Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with a periodic network of permanent porosity and ordered structures have witnessed enormous potential in many applications. However, the synthesis COFs controllable morphologies under mild conditions remains critical issue. Herein, we report novel strategy to synthesize β-ketoenamine-linked by emulsion polymerization via phase transfer catalysis for first time. This new approach employs commercially available pyridinium surfactants as emulsifiers polymerization, which function both catalysts morphological regulators. By controlling interfacial interaction emulsion, TpPa-COF can be prepared into different morphologies, i.e., spheres, bowls, fibers. Furthermore, COF directly used prepare film applying an electric field, providing route films. method also allows on gram scale. The is fast, facile, effective improving morphology particle size, prospective green preparation functional COFs.
