Based on triphenylamine (TPA) and aromatic diamines, two multifunctional donor–π–acceptor (D−π–A) conjugated poly-Schiff bases (PSBs) were synthesized subsequently tested analyzed. The aforementioned PSBs exhibit electrochromic (EC) electrofluorochromic (EFC) features can be utilized as cathode electrode materials for aqueous Zn-ion batteries (AZIBs). Both polymer films, PTTB-1 PTTB-2, show good EC EFC properties, excellent dissolution processability, thermal stability, reversible yellow-to-violet color changes in the UV–vis region. Between them, better optical contrast (46%), a fast response time (2.8 s/8.2 s), high coloring efficiency (CE = 310 cm2 C–1), cycling stability (10% attenuation over 2000 s of cycling) are all displayed by PTTB-2 polymer. present properties solvatochromic effects. Abstract The black-to-transparent electrochromism is hailed as the "Holy Grail" of organic optoelectronics. However, designing black electrochromic (EC) materials that fully absorb in visible light region remains challenging. Electroactive simultaneously possess excellent cyclic stability, fast switching times, and high coloration efficiency are extremely rare. In this work, copolymers capable absorbing across entire spectrum have been successfully designed through judicious selection four types monomers. We introduce two polar side chains, which synergistically improve ionic conductivity copolymer, thereby enhancing performance devices(ECDs). ECDs exhibit unprecedentedlong-term surpassing all previously reported stability devices with over 126,786 cycles. Additionally, they achieve a 1273 cm²/C, exceeds every present so far, along coloring/bleaching times 0.82 s/0.86 s. This study presents new strategy for design synthesis high-performance copolymers.
