The application of organic solid–liquid phase change materials (PCMs) is limited for the leakage problem after and high rigidity. In this work, a novel flexible solid–solid PCM (DXPCM) was synthesized using block copolymerization process with polyethylene glycol (PEG) as energy storage segment. transition temperature (from 36.2 to 49.4 °C) enthalpy 83.27 123.35 J/g) DXPCM could be changed through adjusting molecular weight PEG. introduction hard chain segments endowed excellent flexibility, foldability, mechanical properties at room temperature. large number internal hydrogen bonds π–π stacking provided interesting thermally induced switchable adhesion recyclability. release elastic potential ensured that recover its original shape being deformed by external forces. It worth mentioning exhibits infrared stealth capability it can absorb latent heat long period time. conclusion, work developed film strength, adhesion, recovery capability, which has great in stealth.
