The negative effects of refractory organic substances in water on the environment and life have aroused worldwide attention. efficiency using photoelectrocatalysis (PEC) to degrade pollutants depends a large extent properties photoanode semiconductor. Therefore, selection satisfactory semiconductor material promote production intermediate reactive species (hydroxyl radicals superoxide radicals) has become key issue improving PEC. Among available catalysts, transition metal oxides received lot attention recent years due their low price significant advantages. Due its outstanding photoelectrocatalytic properties, Co3O4 emerged as candidate serve photoelectrocatalyst specifically for oxidation with oxygen these materials.
