The importance of nanotechnology is increasing every day in different fields and, especially, the application nanomaterials has attracted considerable attention food safety. Among nanomaterials, MXenes, which are two-dimensional (2D) transition metal-based layered materials made nitrides and carbides, have revolutionized various as a cutting-edge scientific discovery nanotechnology. These been widely used structure biosensors sensors due to their excellent metallic conductivity, mechanical stability, optical absorbance, good redox capability, higher heterogeneous electron transfer rate. In particular, MXenes nanozymes highlighted high performance great extent biosensor domains. growing interest these attributed specific physicochemical features. key enzymatic features include activities similar oxidase, peroxidase, catalase, superoxide dismutase. this review, initially, several common synthesis methods presented, emphasizing significant role constructing efficient sensors. Subsequently, applications MXene safety analysis delved into, including detection bacteria, mycotoxins, antibiotic residues, pesticide along with electrochemical biosensors. addition, gap, limitation, future perspective novel highlighted.

Like sea urchin, nanourchin is a nanostructure having dense radial nanoarrays/nanospikes (∼few-100 nm diameter; length ≥50-100 nm) evolving from centers of hollow nanoassemblies. As per scientific discoveries, carbon and inorganic nanostructures have been designed/explored for physical aspects technical utilizations. Inorganic (metal/metal oxide nanourchin) hybrid (metal nanourchin-graphene or metal nanourchin-carbon nanotube) widely investigated, whereas rarely studied. According to literature reports, numerous polymeric matrices (polyurethane, polystyrene, cellulose, polyaniline, polythiophene derivatives, etc.) processed with nanoparticles using facile methods (in situ, solution, electrochemical, hydro/solvothermal, deposition). Due unique surface/microstructural characteristics structural/functional specifications, nanourchin’s role has analyzed as nanofiller enhance mechanical, thermal, electron/charge conducting, microwave attenuation, biological, allied methodical features ensuing hybrids. Important applications next generation polymer/nanourchin nanocomposites observed radiation shielding, water purification, supercapacitors, bioimaging, biosensing fields. Despite proven worth based nanocomposites, research up till now seems be in embryonic stages (relative extensively explored inorganic/carbon metal/metal oxides, organic frameworks (MOF), graphene, nanotube, etc.). Therefore, this review article stresses the indispensable need future on
