The preparation of foams with self-healing properties and stable cell structures continues to present significant challenges. In this study, a polydimethylsiloxane elastomer featuring dual network structure was developed. A dynamic cross-linking network, formed by hydrogen disulfide bonds, imparted capabilities the elastomer. inclusion agent created an inherent that improved mechanical melt strength synthesized demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving efficiency 92.89%, along impressive properties, including tensile 6.32 MPa elongation at break 1277.80%. Additionally, foam fabricated using supercritical carbon dioxide (sc-CO2) foaming method. With increase in cross-linking, size decreased from 11.88 8.60 μm, while density increased 2.04 × 109 2.71 cells/cm3, resulting uniform distribution within foam. Microcracks were effectively healed 10 min 80 °C, morphology remained after 96 h exposure environmental conditions. This dual-network exhibited excellent performance structure.

Currently, amidst atmospheric menace where natural calamities such as wildfire and floods are becoming more frequent than ever, biobased derivatives offer a sustainable alternative to conventional ways, for instance, petrochemical commodities. Biobased products, obtained from agricultural waste, including 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural (HMF), 2,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)furan (BHMF), 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) promising chemical platforms in the biorefinery, which is yet be explored. The Diels–Alder cycloaddition of BHMF N-phenylmaleimide under optimal reaction conditions investigated this report. First, HMF reduced presence NaBH4, then produce adducts. All novel compounds synthesized acceptable yields effectively characterized by employing important techniques one-dimensional (1D) NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, DEPT-90, DEPT- 135), two-dimensional (2D) (1H–1H COSY, 1H–13C HSQC, HMBC), IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, mass spectrum (QTOF), single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SC-XRD). Furthermore, study underlines necessity synthetic methodologies gives critical insights into progress ecologically friendly methodologies, providing new avenue tunable precursor challenging functionalized polymer future.
