In order to address the relative brittleness and non-recyclability defects of traditional cross-linked epoxy resins, a novel self-healing reprocessable resin based on dynamic piperazine-hindered urea bonds (PA-HUBs) was synthesized. Piperazine is cheap cyclic diamine, which can regulate skeleton stiffness network control mechanical performance thermosets. The tensile strength cured reaches 103 MPa. addition, piperazine monomer contains two methyl substituents an asymmetric aliphatic ring structure, provides sufficient chain mobility activate exchange reactions, imparts highly properties conventional bond, allowing possess both stability properties. Consequently, synthesized exhibits not only excellent but also remarkable self-healing, reprocessable, shape memory reconfiguration capabilities. samples with scratches basically achieve within 10 min, recovery rate welded splines as high 80%. Furthermore, we regulated content PA-HUBs cross-linking density investigate their influence performance. Further analysis showed that higher bond lower increase free volume stress relaxation rate, further improves efficiency endows better ability. However, decrease crosslinking will inevitably have impact its thermal stability, other hand, ductility be improved, more conducive realization reprocessing remodeling This kind dynamically adjustable has properties, new method for solving balance problem between thermosets preparing polymer materials
