Room-temperature complete oxidation of formaldehyde (HCHO) is an important orientation research programs, yet challenges remain. The development efficient catalysts with high activity and excellent stability great significance for such practical application. Inspired by this whole catalytic process, we, therefore, chose HZSM-5 zeolite abundant acidic sites as catalyst support lactic acid (LA) modifier to regulate the properties. use LA simultaneously enhances hydroxyls density increases dispersion Pt nanoparticles, which are better than reference prepared via direct wetness impregnation method. Most satisfying all, acid-modified HZSM-5-supported demonstrates a remarkable reaction performance room-temperature HCHO at concentration 80 ppm large space velocity 360,000 mL/g/h (especially low loading 0.5%). In addition, 120 h test further confirms favorable designed catalyst. This pre-modified strategy using organic might provide potential approach in construction zeolite-supported catalysts.
