Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have attracted tremendous attention in recent years due to their unique physicochemical properties, including pronounced surface plasmon resonance, tunable size, and amenability functionalization. These attributes underpin the growing interest AgNPs as SMART nanocarriers for targeted drug delivery active components biosensing platforms. In this work, we discuss various synthesis strategies AgNPs—ranging from conventional chemical methods green approaches—and highlight subsequent functionalization with anticancer drugs, notably doxorubicin (DOX). We also examine potential of biosensor applications, emphasizing electrochemical optical detection modalities capable monitoring release, oxidative stress, relevant biomarkers. Our experimental data support conclusion that can effectively improve therapeutic efficacy by exploiting tumor-specific conditions (e.g., lower pH) while enhancing sensitivity via resonance signal amplification. provide a thorough discussion results, mechanistic aspects reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, release kinetics, sensor performance metrics. Overall, AgNP-based emerge powerful platform address current challenges precision oncology medical diagnostics.
