Photopyroelectric-based circularly polarized light (CPL) detection, coupling the pyro-phototronic effect and chiroptical phenomena, has provided a promising platform for high-performance CPL detectors. However, as novel detection strategy, photopyroelectric-based is currently restricted by short-wave optical response, underscoring urgent need to extend its response range. Herein, visible-to-near-infrared induced first realized in chiral-polar perovskites. Specifically, multilayered perovskites (S-BPEA)

Organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides have attracted much attention due to their excellent optoelectronic properties. The heterometallic structure is expected achieve more complex luminescence centers, thereby improving the tunability of fluorescent materials. This paper reports synthesis crystals [Cu(2,2'-bpy)(PPh3)2][CuCl2(PPh3)2Sb2OCl4] (1, 2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, PPh3 triphenylphosphine) and (Mim)2[Sb2OCl6] (2, Mim 1-methylimidazole). Crystal 1 a new Menshutkin-type compound with double-layer hamburger-type structure, which characterized by main group (lone pair)···π (arene) supramolecular interactions. shows bright yellow light emission at room temperature has thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) characteristic than twice increase PL intensity from 170 320 K. crystal arises charge transfer cation unit, as confirmed comparison study 2. Abstract Carbon dots (CDs) featuring low‐cost, non‐toxic, and appealing optical properties demonstrate promising applications in energy, e.g. solar energy capture conversion. However, it remains a significant challenge to expand the absorption bands of CDs from visible near‐infrared (NIR) spectral regions harness entire spectrum sunlight for efficient utilization. Herein, hierarchical assemblies (HA‐CDs) are constructed by stepwise assembling monodispersed ultraviolet‐absorbing water‐soluble visible‐NIR absorbing supra‐CDs (PA‐CDs), then complexing PA‐CDs with Fe 3+ ions form 3D porous architectures full good water resistance. Notably, HA‐CDs exhibit hydrophilicity superior photothermal conversion efficiency 84% under simulated irradiation. The facile ion cross‐linking assembly property enables situ preparation on various fabric substrates, resulting high‐performance products. High‐performance 2D solar‐driven interfacial evaporation, electricity generation, water‐electricity cogeneration have been demonstrated coated (HA‐CDs‐fabric). This study provides novel effective design approach development CD‐based materials applications.

Trivalent metal cation engineering in vacancy-ordered layered double perovskites (LDP) is a useful strategy to tune photocatalytic activity. However, the regulatory mechanism of composition on performance still lacks in-depth understanding. This study explores LDP with formula Cs4CdX2Cl12 (X = Bi, Sb) for CO2 reduction. The catalytic fine-tuned by regulating M(III)-site ions. yields CO and CH4 from Cs4CdSb2Cl12 MCs were measured at 23.81 2.68 μmol g-1, resulting selectivity 89.9%. Cs4CdBi2Cl12 demonstrated higher yields, produced 90.77 2.53 achieving 97.2%. In addition, situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectra reveal that modulation ions M(III)-position can enhance activity MCs. Density functional theory (DFT) analysis suggests Bi displays lower energy barrier than Sb rate-determining step, thus facilitating effective reduction CO. These findings highlight influence selection structural properties performance.
