Water scarcity due to increasing population, climate change, and natural resource depletion has led exploring alternate sources of useable water through the treatment reuse wastewater. Additionally, complexity logistics costs transport are driving development demonstration decentralized wastewater units. Graywater, or that does not include from toilets, is a particularly promising source for lower contaminant loading when compared other streams. In this study, ultrafiltration (UF) reverse osmosis (RO) membrane technologies with ultraviolet (UV) disinfection was evaluated low strength graywater shower facilities over six-month period. Rainwater and sewage are important pollution sources for surface water bodies. Vertical greening systems (VGSs) extensively employed these wastewater treatments due to the green sustainable characteristics, as well their high-efficiency in pollutant (organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus) removal. At present, more VGSs designed with buildings, serving city ecosystems. This study provides an overview of different kinds rain treatment, emphasizing types, design, mechanisms, selection plants, growth substrate.
