Gold nanorods are well-known for their localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) properties, which sensitive to both size and morphology. This LSPR effect, combined with absorption ranging from the visible infrared portion of light, makes them particularly suitable applications in fields such as photocatalysis, photovoltaics, biosensing, medical imaging. Traditionally, synthesis has been based on a seed-mediated method use ascorbic acid mild reducing agent. In this work, hydroquinone is used agent achieve nearly quantitative yield terms gold consumption. Using customized design experiment, present study explores influence seed, silver nitrate, cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), hydroquinone, precursor concentrations second wavelength value, linked rod aspect ratio (AR). Statistical analysis results revealed multiple significant quadratic effects interactions, notably between CTAB indicating formation complex these two components that anisotropic growth. The predictive power developed model was investigated validated by its accuracy predicting, new conditions, plasmonic properties well-controlled AR. comprehensive understanding tunability mechanism process provides valuable insights into optimizing production desired various applications.
