Abstract
Owing
to
the
giant
significance
of
organic
dyes
in
both
analytical
as
well
supramolecular
chemistry,
here,
we
report
an
efficient
and
green
methodology
for
preparation
indicator
dyes,
namely
fluorescein
phenolphthalein.
This
particular
method
involves
inexpensive,
reusable,
biodegradable
deep
eutectic
solvent
(DES)
choline
chloride
(ChCl)
zinc
(ZnCl
2
)
a
ratio
1
:
2,
furnish
corresponding
with
appropriate
stoichiometry
easily
accessible
starting
materials.
Strikingly,
this
procedure,
DES
played
two‐fold
role
catalyst

efficiently
recycled
