Abstract This study shows an effective approach for the synthesis of spirooxindole‐pyrans and bis‐spirooxindole‐pyrans derivatives using 5 mol % [CMMIM][BF 4 ] ionic liquid. The a library 28 was accomplished with impressive yields, ranging from 81 to 97 %. were successfully characterized by 1 H‐NMR, 13 C‐NMR, FT‐IR, high‐resolution mass spectral techniques. In addition, photophysical properties 17 selected derivatives, including molar extinction coefficient (ϵ) Stokes shift (Δυ̅), have been investigated. values vary between 14863 47372 5516 9766 cm −1 , respectively. On other hand, corresponding 30871 57622 9199 13351 bis‐spirooxindole‐pyrans. Furthermore, experimental data is supported density functional theory (DFT) time‐dependent DFT calculations. theoretical studies conducted demonstrated trend remarkably consistent results.

Abstract An efficient nickel‐catalyzed sequential one‐pot strategy for the synthesis of coumarin‐appended quinolines and bis‐quinolines has been developed under mild reaction conditions in moderate to good yields (up 84 %) via dehydrogenative Friedlander annulation followed by C(sp 3 )−H functionalization. The use a cost‐effective Ni catalyst, environmentally friendly solvents simple operating procedures are attractive attributes this method. In this study, a novel hybrid nanostructure consisting of acid-decorated chitosan and magnetic AlFeO3 nanoparticles was fabricated. The provided stable biocompatible matrix for the nanoparticles. Abstract Herein, we report a novel synthetic pathway for synthesizing bis‐coumarins using 5 mol% [BCMIM][Cl] ionic liquid via the facile, one‐pot, metal‐free synthesis in aqueous ethanol at room temperature.
