The nanozymes (NZs) are the artificial catalyst deployed for biosensing with their uniqueness (high robustness, surface tenability, inexpensive, and stability) obtaining a better response/miniaturization of varied sensors than traditional ancestors. Nowadays, nanomaterials broadened scale such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), metals/metal oxides widely engaged in generating NZ-based biosensors (BS). Diverse strategies like fluorescent, colorimetric, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), electrochemical sensing principles were implemented signal transduction NZs. Despite broad advantages, numerous encounters (like specificity, feasibility, stability, issues scale-up) affecting potentialities NZs-based BS, thus need prior attention promising exploration revolutionary outcome advanced theranostics. This review includes different types NZs, progress NZs tailored bio-sensing techniques detecting abundant bio analytes theranostic purposes. Further, discussion highlighted some recent challenges along progressive way possibly overcoming followed by commercial outbreaks.
