This work investigated the optical characteristics of BaWO4 nanoparticles that were produced through direct mechanochemical synthesis at varying speeds and times. research expands upon our previous study. We demonstrated activation precursor BaCO3 WO3, elevated milling (850 rpm), facilitates formation tetragonal in a reduced reaction time. The final products characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), as well Raman, infrared (IR), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance, photoluminescence spectroscopies. crystallite sizes particles shapes determined X-ray diffraction SEM analysis. Round with size below 50 nm formed under different conditions. Raman spectra synthesized samples confirmed presence scheelite-type structure typical six distinct vibrational peaks. symmetry structural WO4 groups was IR spectroscopy. absorption both exhibited intensive peaks 210 nm, calculated band gaps 5.10 eV (3 h/500 rpm) 5.24 (1 h/850 rpm). A strong (400 nm) weak (465 emission observed for obtained higher speed, while wider 410 visible prepared lower speed. CIE coordinates mechanochemically located within blue area, exhibiting various positions.
