Abstract
Prolonged
exposure
to
alcohol
vapors
can
have
detrimental
effects
on
human
health,
potentially
leading
eye
irritation,
dizziness,
and
in
some
cases,
damage
the
nervous
system.
The
present
article
aims
provide
a
comprehensive
understanding
synthesis
characterization
of
zinc
ferrite
(ZnFe
2
O
4
)
nanoparticles,
as
well
their
interactions
with
range
vapors,
including
methanol,
ethanol,
n‐propanol,
isopropanol.
These
alcohols
differ
molecular
weight,
boiling
points,
diffusivity,
other
properties.
study
reveals
semiconducting
ZnFe
nanoparticulate
sensor‘s
capability
for
reversible,
repeatable,
sensitive
detection
vapors.
sensor
exhibits
highest
response
ethanol
within
operating
temperature
(225–300
°C).
An
attempt
is
made
establish
correlation
between
properties
target
analytes
observed
sensing
signals.
Additionally,
conductance
transients
under
studied
are
modeled
based
Langmuir‐Hinshelwood
adsorption
mechanism.

time
constants

modeling
