There has been a growing emphasis on developing extraction methods that are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly and sustainable. One promising avenue is the exploration of deep eutectic solvents (DESs) as neoteric media. This study aims to investigate potential DESs media for phenolics-rich flower clove extracts. Two were synthesised by mixing choline chloride with glycerol lactic acid at molar ratio 1:2. The thermal profiles mixture analysed using differential scanning calorimetry, viscosity density measured different temperatures. phenolic compounds quantitatively characterised all extractants high-performance liquid chromatography. total content antioxidant activities extracts determined. results showed significantly improved from clove, especially case compounds, considerably enhanced activity use offers green, method extracting value-added products natural sources.

This research demonstrates that deep eutectic solvents (DESs) can eliminate sulfur compounds, which are corrosive and carcinogenic species, from model petroleum products through liquid-liquid extraction. Several monoprotic acids, including formic acid acetic acid, used to make DESs, along with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (BmimCl) as a hydrogen bond acceptor. These DESs for the first time remove compounds (thiophene dibenzothiophene) an alkane hydrocarbon (n-octane), is instead of crude oil latter contains variety nitrogen hydrocarbons, oxygen. The optimal parameters removal discussed, extraction temperature, reaction time, mass ratio DES hydrocarbon, whilst regeneration also considered. H2O2 iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticle (NP) catalysts enhance process. characterization methods, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared, energy dispersive X-ray, transmission determine structural characteristics Fe3O4 NPs. results show acid-based DES, able more than 86% molecules when 2:1, at 30°C within 60 min. provides important opportunity advance our understanding role in removing particles industrial processes.
