Lightweight aggregate concrete, known for its light weight, thermal insulation, and excellent durability, has garnered significant attention is considered an ideal material lightweight ultra-high-performance concrete. Previous research discovered that prewetting aggregates can continuously release water during the setting hardening process of providing internal curing. However, moisture behavior prewetted under different temperature humidity conditions, as well their curing mechanisms in low water–cement ratio mixtures, remains unclear requires further investigation. In response to environmental sustainability, this study utilizes industrial waste γ-C2S produce a high-strength carbonized (CC) primarily compares absorption characteristics three types aggregates, focusing on influence CC establishing model cement-based materials. The experimental results indicate rates self-made high-performance (CC), magnesian (MC), shale (SC) conform typical Boxlucas equation. air environment, longest duration, followed by MC, with SC being fastest. storage performance was poor, while 100% exhibited better mixing stage. When prewetted, it significantly increase free content interfacial transition zone, aiding hydration zone enhancing efficiency shrinkage compensation expansive agent. This improvement contributes mechanical strength volumetric stability
