Polyureas (PUas) are versatile polymers with a wide range of applications in areas such as coatings, construction, automotive, and aerospace. The isocyanate index (R index) refers to the molar ratio equivalent number groups (─NCO) total amino (─NH2) or hydroxyl (─OH) synthesis PUas polyurethanes. relationship between R material properties is less explored PUa chemistry. Moreover, traditional thermosets without recyclability reprocessability, hindering broader industrial adoption. Herein, series thermoplastic excellent mechanical thermal prepared from CO2-based oligourea (OUa) 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) different indices = 1, 1.05, 1.11). has significant impact on structure molecular weight PUas, thereby significantly affecting their stability. When synthesized (PUa-1.05) exhibits best overall performance, high tensile strength ≈75 MPa, Young's modulus ≈1100 toughness ≈104 MJ·m-3, great reprocessing capacities. In addition, possess stability, an initial decomposition temperature 312 °C.
