Luminescent chiral metal-organic frameworks (CMOFs) are promising candidates for the enantioselective sensing of important molecules. Herein, we report synthesis and characterization Zn Cd CMOFs based on 1,1'-bi-2-naphthol (BINOL)-derived 3,3',6,6'-tetra(benzoic acids), H4L-OEt H4L-OH. Four CMOFs, Zn-L-OEt, Zn-L-OH, Cd-L-OEt, Cd-L-OH, these ligands were crystallographically characterized. Zinc cations form 8-connected (8-c) penta-metallic secondary building units (SBUs), while cadmium 4-c trimetallic SBUs. These SBUs linked by L-OEt L-OH to noninterpenetrated 4, 8-c 4,8T41 zinc (Zn-L-OEt Zn-L-OH) 2-fold interpenetrated diamondoid (dia) (Cd-L-OEt Cd-L-OH), respectively. At a ligand concentration 24 μM, H4L-OH showed negligible luminescent quenching RR- SS-hydrobenzoin (HB) enantiomers with Stern-Völmer constants 29-89 M-1. In contrast, displayed efficient HB 583-1200 M-1, due significant preconcentration in CMOF channels via favorable host-guest interactions between The demonstrated luminescence selectivity RR-HB over SS-HB, Zn-L-OEt exhibiting highest ratio (Ksv(RR)/Ksv(SS)) 1.624. This work highlights potential applications.

ABSTRACT One‐dimensional coordination polymer La‐CP , {[La(H 2 O) (HL O ) (L )]·H O} n containing a new luminescent ligand 4,7‐di(4‐carboxypyrazol‐1‐yl)‐2,1,3‐benzoxadiazole (H L was synthesized. Upon excitation at 400 nm, the compound shows strong emission with maximum 550 nm high photoluminescence quantum yield of 43%. demonstrates sensing properties toward aluminum and gallium cations, as well dihydrogen phosphate sulfate anions through enhancement response. The limits detection were 0.42, 0.70, 0.37, 0.40 μM, respectively. is first example sensor for anion among all types polymers. uptake analytes under conditions evaluated, absorption result such proposed probable response mechanism.
