A novel palladium-catalyzed allylic C-H alkylation of terminal olefins with 3-carboxamide oxindoles is described. variety new 3-carboxamide-3-allylation an all-carbon quaternary center were obtained in moderate to good yields (up 99%). In addition, the asymmetric version this reaction was also explored, providing enantioselectivity.

Abstract Selective C‐H activation is the most important step for organic molecule transformation. Photocatalytic radicals driven considered a promising route but suffers from simultaneously utilizing electron/hole pairs which are limited to broad‐band gap semiconductors. Herein, half‐photocathodic reaction strategy demonstrated activate and oxygenate C(sp 3 )‐H bonds of toluene toward selective benzaldehyde production using narrow‐bandgap CuBi 2 O 4 (CBO) porous photocathode. The intrinsic Cu + /Cu 2+ redox CBO photocathode catalyzes photocathodic oxygen reductive H generate ·OH capable oxidation activates bond that further oxygenated via ·O − formed reduction. As result, selectivity up 90%. Impressively, narrow‐band enables record‐high light‐driven yields 111.93 mmol m −2 h −1 with stability over 20 h. This work opens green efficient by
