Noble metal oxides are highly valuable and act as a key component of metal-oxide interfaces in oxide-supported noble catalysts, which play crucial role modern industrial society. Here, we investigate the structure four common stable using 17O solid-state NMR. The optimal isotopic labeling temperature ensures highest efficiency while preserving oxides. variation characteristic signals for each oxide reveals oxygen species different chemical environments, NMR parameters related to shift anisotropy quadrupolar interaction obtained from spectral fitting indicate more structural information. DFT calculations used assist assignments various species. This work serves prerequisite studying catalysts.
