Chiral ferroelectric crystals with inherent chirality and spontaneous polarization have recently gained considerable interest. However, the chiral topological texture, which provides a promising platform for exploring exotic functionalities, has never been found in enantiomeric crystals. Here, we report pair of molecular ferroelectrics, [RFAO][ReO4] [SFAO][ReO4] (RFAO/SFAO = (4R,5R/4S,5S)-4-fluoro-1-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octane). The enantiomers crystallize chiral-polar point group 2 at room temperature undergo two phase transitions an Aizu notation 222F2 350 K 432F2 463 K, respectively. Such enable them to show multistep switchable second-harmonic generation circular dichroism (SHG-CD) effect from high low off (inactive) SHG-CD states. More importantly, observed spiral domains enantiomers. To best our knowledge, this is first discovery Our breakthrough findings give new sights into interplay between will greatly stimulate further exploration next-generation electronic-photonic devices.

Comprehensive Summary Organic‐inorganic hybrid perovskites (OIHPs) offer precise control over material properties through the substitution of organic cations and halogens. In this study, two OIHPs, [(C 6 H 10 P)( n ‐BA)]Sb 2 X 9 ([C P] + = [Me 3 PCH CH ] , [ ‐BA] ‐butylamine cation, I ( 1 ), Br )), were synthesized by varying halogens within a mixed‐cation system. The halogen induced shift from compound which remains stable without phase transitions, to undergoes ferroelastic transition mmmF 2/ m ). Compound crystallizes in non‐centrosymmetric Pca space group demonstrates second harmonic generation (SHG) response, while displays elasticity nanoindentation tests. Halogen alters Sb—X bond lengths, inducing structural distortions inorganic framework influencing spatial configuration anions. These changes lead distinct crystallization behaviors, resulting different physical for compounds . This work contributes development multifunctional materials based on regulation OIHPs.

Ferroelectrics with switchable spontaneous polarization have gained enormous attention for a century. However, the structural phase transitions of conventional ferroelectrics been mainly limited to ones crystallographic point group changes accompanied by breaking spatial symmetry elements. Moreover, although chiral and photoswitchable both great interest in recent years, heteroatomic never reported. Herein, first time, we designed pair sulfur-chiral (Rs Ss)-N-(3-bromo-5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-2-methylpropane-2-sulfinamide (1-Rs 1-Ss). Notably, they undergo transition from polar C2 P21 space 2 at around 142 K, operation 2-fold rotation screw only P21. Such same group, while different groups operations, is significantly distinct ferroelectrics. Furthermore,1-Rs exhibits highest piezoelectric d33 value 10 pC/N among organic shows optical control ferroelectric polarization. To our knowledge, this report showing change. Two-dimensional (2D) chiral perovskites exhibit strong circular dichroism and two-photon absorption (TPA). A comprehensive understanding of the excited spin excitonic properties in 2D is essential for development chirality related nonlinear optical (NLO) devices. In this work, we have constructed a series with TPA coefficients using an achiral organic spacer cation alloying strategy. Importantly, carrier dynamics has been investigated, which different responses to left-handed right-handed circularly polarized light. Interestingly, microscopic images luminescence (CPL) are demonstrated, confirming they possess large dissymmetry factors CPL. This work not only sheds light on mechanism but also confirms feasibility their application NLO
