The aim of this study was to examine variations in the hydrological regime Krapina River from 1964 2023. river basin spans 1263 km2 and is characterized by a temperate, humid continental climate with warm summers. Hydrological data Kupljenovo gauging station, which monitors 91.1% (1150 km2), indicate an average annual discharge 11.2 m3/s, ranging 3.25 m3/s 18.3 m3/s. Over 60-year period, minimum mean daily discharges show statistically insignificant increasing trend, while maximum exhibit declines. Annual precipitation averages 1037 mm, varying between 606 mm 1459 non-significant decreasing trend. In contrast, air temperatures demonstrate significant pronounced intensification beginning 1986. runoff coefficients series exhibits downward value 0.293 (range: 0.145–0.399). Application New Drought Index (NDI) revealed marked increase frequency strong extreme droughts since 2000.
