Abstract Chapter 4 focuses on the second phase of Intentional Change Theory (ICT), realization Real Self. The Self may be a constellation ways individuals think about themselves, but in ICT, it is way one experienced by others. Faux false image oneself often created from self-protective forces. Therefore, collecting observations others or direct observation key to determining and one’s strengths weaknesses. Focusing Real–Ideal discrepancies uses deficiency approach reduce this gap.
