Abstract Background Children of parents with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are at increased risk adverse psychological outcomes. An important mechanism is impaired parental functioning, including negative parenting behavior, perceived incompetence, and lack social support. Several interventions for trauma-exposed psychiatric disorders exist, but none have specifically targeted PTSD. Our objective to evaluate the effectiveness a blended care preventive intervention Methods The was adapted from an existing online intervention, KopOpOuders Self-Help.
