All-inorganic perovskite (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, I) nanomaterials as novel optoelectronic semiconductors have attracted much attention due to their unique photoelectric properties in lighting, display, and photovoltaic applications. Meanwhile, green red light-emitting diodes (LEDs) based on bromine iodine groups developed rapidly, which the high external quantum efficiency (EQE) is close that of current commercial LEDs. However, EQE perovskite-based blue LEDs far behind. Blue are often made by CsPbCl3 CsPb(Cl/Br)3 nanocrystals (NCs) with low photoluminescence (PL) yields. Light-emitting colloidal lead halide perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) are considered promising candidates for next-generation vivid displays. However, the operational stability of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) based on PeNCs is still lower than those polycrystalline films, which requires an understanding defect formation in PeNCs, both inside crystal lattice ("bulk") and at surface. Meanwhile, uncontrollable ion redistribution electrochemical reactions under LED operation can be severe, also related to bulk surface quality a well-designed device architecture boost carrier injection balance radiative recombination. In this review, we consider reconstruction by enhancing rigidity rationally selecting ligands. Degradation pathways applied voltage discussed, strategies avoid undesirable migration PeNC films. Abstract Metal halide perovskite quantum dot‐based light‐emitting diodes (QLEDs) have garnered considerable attention for realizing wide color gamut displays. Despite the breakthrough achieved in sky‐blue QLEDs, it is still challenging to realize efficient Rec. 2020‐blue QLEDs. Herein, a triphenylamine derivative‐tailored hole transport layer (HTL) strategy proposed improving injection deep‐blue The mobility of tailored HTL (T‐HTL) enhanced by ≈3.5 times compared pristine (P‐HTL) mixing 4,4′‐cyclohexylidenebis [N, N‐bis(p‐tolyl) aniline] (TAPC) into poly [bis(4‐phenyl) (4‐butylphenyl) amine] (Poly‐TPD), and highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level T‐HTL shifted down 0.11 eV P‐HTL, facilitating emitting layer. resulting QLEDs exhibit an external efficiency 11.0% at 465 nm, meeting 2020 standard representing state‐of‐the‐art Theoretical calculations experimental results demonstrate that capacity attributed intermolecular π–π stacking between TAPC Poly‐TPD. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) is a promising hole-transporting material for perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). However, intrinsic luminance quenching at the PEDOT:PSS/perovskite interface causes deterioration of performance. Here, we develop facile and effective strategy to passivate defects via modification PEDOT:PSS by l-norvaline. As pre-buried additive, l-norvaline not only reacts with PEDOT:PSS, but also forms coordination hydrogen bond perovskite. We demonstrated that generation buried originates from crystallization process film during annealing in-situ photoluminescence measurements. The surface l-norvaline-modified can interfacial inhibit exciton quenching. result, PeLED shows good device performance 80089 cd m

All-inorganic blue-emissive CsPbBr3 perovskite nanoplatelets (NPLs) are promising for optoelectronic applications due to excellent optical properties, but their applicability is seriously restricted by a low photoluminescence efficiency and poor stability. Here, we develop postsynthetic surface-mediated engineering strategy prepare high-quality blue NPLs at room temperature using strongly bound polystyrene sulfonic acid (PSS). PSS efficiently passivates the surface trap sites of via strong coordination bonds, thereby achieving high-efficiency exciton recombination enhancing photostability. The optimized PSS-NPLs reveal intense emission with central wavelength ∼466 nm high quantum yield ∼83.2%, indicating substantial improvement from ∼48.3% pristine NPLs. Simultaneously, PSS-treated exhibit significantly enhanced stability in comparison during UV exposure thermal treatment. Finally, achieve efficient NPL-LEDs (peaked ∼468 nm) PSS-NPL-polymer composite film, corresponding CIE color coordinates (0.124, 0.067), which closely approach Rec. 2020 standard. Hence, our work offers facile fabricating high-performance promotes potential blue-emitting devices.
