Abstract Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL)‐active materials are increasingly recognized for their potential applications such as 3D imaging, data storage, and optoelectronic devices. Typically, CPL have required high‐energy (HE) photons excitation to emit low‐energy (LE) circularly light, a process known downshifting (DSCPL). However, the emergence of upconverted (UCCPL), where absorption multi LE results in emission single HE photon with circular polarization, has recently attracted considerable attention. This minireview highlights intricate relationship between upconversion phenomena. During upconversion, dissymmetry factor ( g lum ) value can be improved certain systems. Additionally, integration both upconversion‐downshifting‐synergistic systems offers avenues dual‐excitation or dual‐emission functionalities. Distinguished from traditional physical unclonable functions (PUFs), optical PUFs derive their encoded information the properties of materials, offering distinct advantages, including solution processability, material versatility, and tunable luminescence performance. However, existing research on has predominantly centered visible photoluminescence, while advanced based higher-level covert light remain unexplored. In this study, we present utilization near-infrared circularly polarized (NIR-CPL). This interesting property is achieved by incorporating Yb-doped metal halide perovskite nanocrystals (Yb-PeNCs) possessing NIR emission into chiral imprinted photonic (CIP) films. By employing a solvent immersion method, successfully integrated Yb-PeNCs these CIP films, thereby creating an optically surface. The resulting NIR-CPL adds layer security to PUF systems. These findings underscore potential solution-processable films play pivotal role in advancing next generation PUFs.

A coordination complex, Eu(C12C12dbm)3(phen), with strong emission and a high quantum yield (QY ∼ 51.9%) was synthesized. The EuIII as fluorescent emitter, embedded in cholesteric liquid crystal polymer networks (CLCNs). series of free-standing EuIII-CLCN films were obtained, generating typical sharp band corresponding to the complex. Tunable handedness circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) |glum| values (up 0.63) observed. CPL-active CLCN-coated PET also prepared (|glum| up 0.63), which can be used for large-area preparations. Moreover, by stacking an emitter-embedded PMMA layer CLCN layer, composite system built, large value (∼1.42) achieved. Fluorescence patterns prepared, distinct images recognized under both daylight UV light. Circularly polarized luminescence materials with broad color tunability are highly valuable for applications in 3D display and photonic technologies. Here we show that incorporating intermolecular charge-transfer complexation into chiral supramolecular polymers is an efficient strategy to achieve this objective. Adjusting the strength between triphenylamine donors naphthalenemonoimide acceptors enables tunable circularly signals across visible light spectrum. This includes blue-colored emission donor polymers, as well green, yellow, orange red-colored donor-acceptor polymers.
