Rosa hugonis is widely distributed in the Hengduan Mountains, Qinling and northern China. It an important candidate species for ecological restoration, given its good adaptability. Here, we present first high-quality chromosome-level assembly of R. based on HiFi reads Hi-C data. The sequencing data were then assembled onto seven pseudochromosomes hugonis. genome sizes 337.92 Mb, with contig N50 length 26.84 Mb. We annotated 36,218 protein-coding genes In summary, sequences provide a genetic roadmap study genetics relationships. This will facilitate future genomic comparative studies across more within Rosa.

Rapeseed (Brassica napus) is an important oilseed crop and yellow-seeded black-seeded varieties have different metabolite profiles, which determines the quality edibility of their oil. In this study, we performed a non-targeted metabolomics analysis seeds from four rapeseed at eight developmental stages. This identified 4540 features, 366 were annotated as known metabolites. The content these metabolites was closely related to seed stage, with critical period for accumulation being between 10 20 days after pollination. Through comparative analysis, 18 differentially abundant flavonoid features varieties. By combining data transcriptome data, constructed gene regulatory network that may reflect features. Finally, predicted 38 unknown through molecular networking. These results provide valuable information breeding
