Graphene, a two-dimensional arrangement of carbon atoms, has drawn significant interest in medical research due to its unique properties. In the context bone regeneration, graphene shown several promising applications. Its robust structure, electrical conductivity, and biocompatibility make it an ideal candidate for enhancing tissue regeneration repair processes. Studies have revealed that presence can stimulate proliferation differentiation cells, thereby promoting formation new tissue. Additionally, ability act as effective carrier growth factors drugs allows controlled release, facilitating engineering specific tissues regeneration. To assess efficacy through vitro studies, identify key safety concerns, propose directions future optimize clinical applicability. The present systematic review was carried out using PRISMA 2020 guideline. A first search on 20 November 2023 later updated 14 February 15 April 2024 databases PubMed, Scopus, Web Science. Those studies published English evaluated potential with dentistry also those which met terms were selected. Furthermore, quality assessed following modified CONSORT checklist dental materials. total 17 inclusion criteria. Among these, 12 showed increased osteoblast adhesion, proliferation, differentiation, along notable enhancements mineralized matrix formation. they exhibited upregulation osteogenic markers such RUNX COL1 (p < 0.05). However, variability methodologies lack long-term assessments noted critical gaps. evaluation potential. is recognized implementation should be approached caution, considering identified areas improvement suggestions research. Future focus standardized experimental designs, including vivo evaluate safety, immune responses, vascularization processes realistic biological environments.
