Consequently, patients with these conditions are often referred from primary dermatological clinics to other medical institutions for further secondary or tertiary care. Cutaneous adverse drug reactions, or pharmacodermias, are the most common form of reactions (ADR). It was our interest to know their epidemiological behavior in a tertiary hospital level Mexico. We stablished frequency ADR 61 infants and adults hospitalized patients those seen outpatient Dermatology Clinic at National Institute Cardiology Ignacio Chávez Mexico City (INCICh) over period 10 years. The frequently diagnosed pharmacodermias were acneiform dermatitis, cutaneous hyperpigmentation maculopapular exanthema mainly associated prednisone, hydroxychloroquine, cephalothin, amiodarone vitamin B-complex, although we registered less more severe hazardous reactions.
