With the expansion of manufacturing sector, it has become crucial to incorporate sustainable production methods in order remain competitive market. This study focuses on addressing needs industry by conducting a sustainability analysis electric discharge machining for SS310 alloy. The explores impact various electrode materials, instance, copper and brass, as well different variables, including current (I = 4–12 A), spark gap (SG 6–12 mu), pulse duration (Pon 15–45 μs), duty cycle (DC 75–85%) using Taguchi method. objective is optimize performance measures, which includes material removal rate (MRR), surface roughness (Ra), wear (EW), energy consumption (EC). In addition, economic process takes into account factors such cost, dielectric EW labor machine depreciation cost both types electrodes. Furthermore, investigates carbon emissions resulting from EC, consumption, assess environmental process. Multi-criteria decision-making approach employed taking several performance, simultaneously. From empirical analysis, been observed that outperformed brass terms MRR (2.67 mm3/min), Ra (3.36 µm), (0.272 g), EC (145.08 kJ) due its superior electrical thermal characteristics. offered lower costs (2.02 PKR) attributed higher conductivity while (5.5 (5.2 than brass. However, revealed application results (80.1 99.3 PKR, respectively) primarily shorter time. showed utilization leads reduced 9.8 g CO2 during (5.07 CO2) (54.58 compared electrode. Based multi-criteria composite desirability function approach, evident exhibits MRR, Ra, total cost. Conversely, demonstrates better overall emissions.
