COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy is a major public health challenge with the potential to prevent communities from achieving coverage level necessary for herd immunity against virus. The study determined acceptance and associated factors among residents of Afadzato South District Ghana. COVID-19 ranks as one of the major pandemics in recent history, with healthcare workers disproportionately burdened by disease. Vaccination emerged most effective measure to curb spread and reduce morbidity mortality. However, vaccine hesitancy presents a challenge achieving optimal vaccination coverage Nigeria. This study assessed level COVID-19-related stress anxiety well factors associated among workers. A descriptive, cross-sectional was conducted 849 health tertiary hospital. Vaccine hesitancy, related were using Hesitancy Scale (VHS) SAVE-6 scale respectively. Also, WHO-5 index used assess perceived mental wellbeing participants. Until the World Health Organization declared an end to COVID-19 as a global health emergency worldwide in 2023, people with multiple sclerosis (MS) were hesitant get vaccine. This study aimed assess final vaccination status, attitude, and adverse events related vaccine among MS Egypt. A self-administered survey was offered who came Alexandria University Clinic Egypt between June 2023 November 2023. Of 150 surveys completed, 77% of participants women. Their median age 35.5 years (range, 19-59 years); their disease duration 4 years. Only 81 (54%) received that 81, 81.5% 2 doses. The fear score (FCV-19S) 11, 15.3% had high levels fear. Worrying about worsening effect on (69.3%) long-term (AEs) vaccines (63.3%) most common causes only factor significantly receiving FCV-19S (P = .049). Among those vaccine, fatigue AE reported 48%; 5% neurological relapse. No other serious AEs occurred. In this study, almost half did not receive vaccination, mainly due attributed mild. Implementing educational programs during future pandemics will be necessary improve rates MS.

The global COVID-19 pandemic posed a significant threat to public health, inflicting enduring hardships upon humanity, particularly among vulnerable populations. Artisanal cross-border fish traders from developing countries like Malawi were severely impacted by imposed control measures. Gender inequalities exacerbated these challenges, forming the basis of this study on informal along Malawi–Mozambique border near Lake Chilwa during pandemic. Using an intersectional theory, research explores how gender disparities shaped COVID-19, considering social determinants, consequences, and coping mechanisms in trading. employed cross-sectional qualitative approach, collecting data 169 participants through focus group discussions (FGDs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), Cognitive Edge Sensemaker Tool, Emergency Market Mapping Analysis toolkit (EMMA) between April November 2022. Findings indicate that measures disproportionately affected female traders, leading increased human rights violations, sexual exploitation rape. These violations left women with health traumas, including sexually transmitted diseases. Both men strategies exposed further marginalization violations. Given widespread nature violence across borders, inter-country coordination is crucial protect traders. Policy should educating about reporting for abusive practices establishing local support systems where are lacking.

Vaccine hesitancy has emerged as a significant barrier to achieving herd immunity and protecting populations from preventable diseases. Despite the proven effectiveness safety of vaccines, many individuals remain hesitant or refuse vaccinate themselves their children. This review aims identify factors contributing vaccine hesitancy, including misinformation, lack trust in authorities, cultural beliefs, access barriers. We also discuss impact on public health, outbreaks vaccine-preventable diseases erosion health authorities. Furthermore, we present evidence-based communication strategies for addressing building trust, providing accurate information, myths misconceptions, engaging with local influencers, utilizing social media digital platforms. By understanding implementing effective strategies, healthcare providers, officials, community leaders can work towards promoting widespread acceptance health.

Human Papillomavirus is responsible for about 5% of the global cancer burden. In Nigeria, cervical second most common among women.
