Aquatic ecosystems are impacted by various human activities. In view of their preservation, it is necessary to monitor quality. this sense, the objective work was evaluate water quality microbasin Palmitos an integrated analysis. The Rapid Assessment Protocol (RAP) results characterized stream ranging from altered and tributaries natural altered. Biomonitoring characterizes at different levels, very bad good. high level eutrophication bodies highlighted due concentrations phosphorus arising local agricultural activities, which cover about 60% area according study land use occupation. analysis sediments showed that places with more heterogeneity present greater diversity macroinvertebrates. protocol functional feeding groups reveals a destructured in its middle/lower part, predominance collecting macroinvertebrates absence fragmenters. These results, together, demonstrate degradability region covered urban area. It expected will contribute strengthening proposals for monitoring controlling pollution, serving as subsidy programs recover degraded areas.
