Female infertility is a common issue caused by various factors, such as hormonal imbalances, age-related decline in oocyte quality, and lifestyle choices. Ovarian dysfunction prevalent cause, impacting fertility damaging cells impairing functions. Oxidative stress (OS) condition resulting from an imbalance between natural antioxidants the generation of oxidants. This phenomenon acts double-edged sword, playing crucial role signaling mechanism both physiological pathological processes related to female reproductive system. OS linked ovarian dysfunction, leading cell damage reduced fertility. Nrf2 key regulator oxidative homeostasis, helping defend against improve function women age. Therefore, this review aims highlight system, focusing on its antioxidant properties.
