Summary Facial fractures are a common presentation in equine practice, with management strategies ranging from conservative treatment for stable to surgical intervention displaced or unstable cases. Resorbable implants present several advantages over conventional metal implants, including lower risk of infection, elimination the need implant removal, and gradual degradation during healing process. Their application patients has shown promising results two cases involving low‐stress anatomical regions such as nasal maxillary bones.
