This research seeks to enhance energy management systems (EMS) within a microgrid by focusing on the importance of accurate renewable prediction and its strong correlation with load curtailment. Analyzing precision disturbance predictions, reveals that predicting one hour in advance is more effective than immediate predictions or those made several hours beforehand. Furthermore, study investigates scheduling curtailment manage peak power from sources comparing two distinct strategies: Case 1, which implements curtailments both morning afternoon, 2, focuses solely midday The findings indicate 1 effectively aligns output photovoltaic (PV) energy, thereby reducing reliance grid enhancing efficiency. In contrast, 2's focus results increased purchases grid, missing chance leverage abundant solar energy. A key finding this shows applying for along forecasting, improves battery coordination alleviates stress supercapacitor, leading being reduced. interdependent relationship between precise forecasting not only enhances efficiency hybrid system (battery supercapacitor), but also relies storage systems, lowering overall costs, reliable system.
