Abstract. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessments are the trusted source of scientific evidence for climate negotiations taking place under United Nations Framework Convention (UNFCCC). Evidence-based decision-making needs to be informed by up-to-date and timely information key indicators state system human influence global system. However, successive IPCC reports published at intervals 5–10 years, creating potential an gap between report cycles. We follow methods as close possible those used in Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) Working Group One (WGI) report. compile monitoring datasets produce estimates related forcing system: emissions greenhouse gases short-lived forcers, gas concentrations, radiative forcing, Earth's energy imbalance, surface temperature changes, warming attributed activities, remaining carbon budget, extremes. ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have caused serious global climate change, and countries worldwide are taking steps to mitigate the greenhouse effect by carbon emissions. CO 2 geological storage (CGS) is emerging as a large‐scale technology for reducing GHG gradually becoming one of most important means mitigating effect. There several problems in implementation this technology, among which geomechanical injection sequestration cannot be ignored. This article reviews impacts hazards CGS, can lead risks, including changes reservoir caprock mechanical properties, stability, closure, fault activation, induced seismicity during sequestration. above studies summarizes research methods CGS generation mechanisms, help comprehensively understand risks faced process provide references guidance operation, monitoring, future.

The synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) is commonly perceived as more efficient when performed using continuous-flow methods, whereas batch processes are often seen less favorable due to their limitations in yield, heat and mass transfer, safety. This perception largely stems from existing studies that focus on green metrics such the E-factor yield. However, a comprehensive comparison flow through full techno-economic analyses (TEA) life-cycle assessments (LCA) remains underexplored, leaving key aspects environmental economic impacts inadequately assessed. work addresses this gap by presenting detailed syntheses seven industrially relevant APIs, including amitriptyline hydrochloride, tamoxifen, zolpidem, rufinamide, artesunate, ibuprofen, phenibut. Eleven impact categories within framework nine planetary boundaries were assessed, study also included an evaluation capital operating costs for both production methods. results demonstrated that, average, significantly sustainable with improvements energy efficiency, water consumption, waste reduction. Flow show marked reduction carbon emissions up 97% highlighting potential greener API manufacturing. Despite these advantages, identified areas where technology requires further development. Specifically, manufacturing certain APIs lower-than-average expenditure land system changes, latter being directly correlated consumption organic solvents, can be comparable or even higher than batch. These challenges highlight need optimization fully realize production.
