The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, approved by the international community, represents a global strategic guide with 17 Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 interconnected targets, aimed at promoting equitable economic, social environmental development. In this context, innovation research can play crucial role in supporting policies achievement of SDGs, especially local regional levels. This article reports what was developed Puglia Region according to double action. On one hand, creation an IT platform improve collaboration between legislative institutions centres facilitates collection transfer data as best practices support political decisions. other practical experimentation on issues related development is conducted, particular attention sustainability-oriented partnerships, needs, knowledge territory. new information system, based geo-database entirely open source software, collects regulatory cooperation projects, technical scientific documents contributing application plans programmes applied tool, addition mapping relevant important resource monitoring progress sustainable policies, facilitating sharing local, national, European actors.
