Abstract Organic‐ligand‐containing frameworks have drawn considerable attention due to their multifunctional properties as well tunable structures for broad applications. Among numerous synthesis methods developed in the past two decades, electrochemical processing has been demonstrated one of most efficient, safe, and facile ways realize large‐scale highly controllable production organic‐ligand‐containing frameworks. In this review, progress electrochemically induced crystallization thin film fabrication is summarized a well‐rounded way. Besides, mechanism parameters are also discussed. Moreover, main challenges expounded providing some guidance on future development frameworks, especially covalent‐organic hydrogen‐bonded organic

Titanium(IV)-based metal-organic frameworks (Ti-MOFs) have received significant attention in recent years because of their numerous photocatalytic applications; however, the synthesis new Ti-MOFs with precise crystal structures is still challenging. Herein, three single-crystal (denoted as FIR-125–FIR-127) are rationally synthesized by employing a large Ti44-oxo cluster precursor to assembly organic ligand. Big single-crystals can be successfully obtained and structurally determined X-ray diffraction. During synthesis, transferred small Ti8O8(CO2)16 building units Ti-MOF. In addition, FIR-125 exhibit high stability, permanent porosity, activity. This work provides strategy toward big growth through slow transformation titanium-oxo clusters.
