Abstract This review briefly emphasizes the different detection approaches (electrochemical sensors, chemiluminescence, surface‐enhanced Raman scattering), functional nanostructure materials (quantum dots, metal nanoparticles, nanoclusters, magnetic nanomaterials, oxide polymer‐based and carbonaceous nanomaterials) mechanisms. Furthermore, emphasis of this is on integration nanomaterials with optical spectroscopic techniques for identification various biomarkers (nucleic acids, glucose, uric acid, oxytocin, dopamine, ascorbic bilirubin, spermine, serotonin, thiocyanate, Pb 2+ , Cu Hg F − peptides), cancer (mucin 1, prostate specific antigen, carcinoembryonic CA15‐3, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2, C‐reactive protein, interleukin‐6). Analytical characteristics nanomaterials‐based sensors are summarized in tables, providing insights detection. Finally, opportunities challenges analytical (inorganic, organic, biomolecules, peptides proteins) discussed.

Abstract Several agronomic waste-materials are presently being widely used as bio-adsorbents for the treatment of toxic wastes such dyes and heavy metals from industrial activities, which has resulted in critical global environmental issues. Therefore, there is a need to continue searching more effective means mitigating these effluents. Synthetic aromatic Acid Brown (AB14) dye one effluent that causing serious issue owing huge amount unsafe effluents released into ecosystem daily contaminants. Consequently, their confiscation environment critical. Hence, this study, Mandarin-CO-TETA (MCT) derived mandarin peels was utilized removal AB14 dyes. The synthesized biosorbent subsequently characterized employing FTIR, TGA, BET, SEM coupled with an EDX. biosorption observed be pH-dependent, optimum noticed at pH 1.5 ascribed electrostatic interaction between positively charged sites on anionic dye. process ideally described by pseudo-second-order (PSO) Langmuir (LNR) models. ideal capacity calculated 416.67 mg/g indicative monolayer sorption MCT biosorbent. Thus, studied can employed low-cost activated biomass-based activities before they further environment, thus contamination.

Abstract The influence of climate change on agriculture, especially as it relates to the production food, changes with reverence duration and space, which most these influences are diverse remarkably uncertain. Undoubtedly, application food innovation technology (FIT) in agricultural processes is an important response for operative objective adaptation mitigation change. Consequently, there a need urgently re-evaluate procedures FIT so address diversities uncertainties ensuing from agriculture aim improving food. Therefore, climate-smart (CSA) activities resilience events well more aids resources both by means will be great assistance this regard. Hence, study presents facile review some topical developments FIT. Some legal frame-work respect also been discussed.

Gas flaring (GasF) is an important aspect of the combustion mechanisms in burning related, undesirable, or surplus fluids (gases particular) that are released during ordinary unexpected overpressuring process several industrial activities, specifically petroleum resource (PTR) industries. It also one major sources greenhouse gas emissions which cause climate change (CMC). In addition to generation noise and heat, it makes substantial adjacent areas uninhabitable and, hence, causes detrimental consequences entire ecosystem as well waste energy results economic losses. Reducing GasF a critical issue due its ensuing complications; consequently, there tenacious need measure via study composition, distribution, capacity, utilization appropriate recovery/removal procedures. The present review will, thus, attempt assess impacts on environment vis-à-vis possible nexus between GasF/CMC using perspective Niger Delta region Nigeria rich PTR, with relevant information drawn from existing publications. roles government, policymakers, stakeholders suggestions recommendations will assist extenuation approaches technologies influence discussed.
