Abstract The incidence of aflatoxins, ochratoxin A, and patulin in fruits processed fruit products has been ever more challenging gained additional focus on ecofriendly mitigation strategies. onset these toxins is due to several factors involving insect attacks, agricultural practices, climate change. Acute chronic health hazards are clinically proven after consuming contaminated foodstuffs, even at lower concentrations mycotoxins. Synergistic, masked, substantial occurrence matrices increase their complexity detection detoxification; apparently, this article reviewed the available information mycotoxins products, focused conventional advanced methods identification, quantification, decontamination techniques. Strengthening implementing stringent international national guidelines required for impactful, tangible measures future. Nevertheless, controlling will certainly be scientists. Therefore, impactful technologies still needed eliminate threshold level food chain ensure sustainable global safety.

Abstract Patulin, a fungal secondary metabolite with multiple toxicities, is widely existed in variety of fruits and their products. This not only causes significant economic losses to the agricultural food industries but also poses serious threat human health. Conventional techniques mainly involved physical chemical methods present several challenges include incomplete patulin degradation, high technical cost, fruit quality decline. In comparison, removal mycotoxin through biodegradation regarded as greener safer strategy which has become popular research. Among them, yeast unique advantage detoxification effect application, attracted our attention. Therefore, this review provides comprehensive account species that can degrade patulin, degradation mechanism, current application status, future challenges. Yeasts efficiently convert into nontoxic or low‐toxic substances biodegradation. Alternatively, it use adsorption, advantages safety, efficiency, environmental friendliness. Nevertheless, due inherent complexity production environment, sole utilization control agent remains inherently unstable challenging implement on large scale practical manner. Integration control, enhancement resilience, improvement cell wall adsorption capacity, research additional patulin‐degrading enzymes will facilitate approach. Furthermore, we analyzed feasibility commercial reduction provided suggestions how enhance its value, great significance for mycotoxins

Patulin (PAT), a type of mycotoxin existing in foodstuffs, is harmful to food safety and human health. Thus, it necessary develop sensitive, selective reliable analytical methods for PAT detection. In this study, sensitive aptasensor based on dual-signaling strategy was fabricated, which methylene-blue-labeled aptamer ferrocene monocarboxylic acid the electrolyte acted as dual signal, monitoring PAT. To improve sensitivity aptasensor, an in-plane gold nanoparticles–black phosphorus heterostructure (AuNPs-BPNS) synthesized signal amplification. Due combination AuNPs-BPNS nanocomposites strategy, proposed has good performance detection with broad linear range 0.1 nM–100.0 μM low limit 0.043 nM. Moreover, successfully employed real sample detection, such apple, pear tomato. It expected that BPNS-based nanomaterials hold great promise developing novel aptasensors may provide sensing platform monitoring.

The mycotoxin patulin is a common contaminant in rotten fruits, posing severe food safety risks and threats to human health. Developing convenient, sensitive reliable method for detection of utmost importance but remains challenging. In this study, we have successfully designed synthesized small-molecule fluorescent probe, FITC-Lys, which demonstrates good sensitivity detecting patulin. Upon contact with patulin, the terminal Lys group FITC-Lys probe reacts resulting formation fluorescein dimer that subsequently quenches fluorescence. This variation fluorescence enables visualization exhibits low LOD 8 ng mL-1 spectrum 12 imaging method. Moreover, validated probe's capability apple pear juices, achieving recoveries ranging from 98.60% 103.80%. Notably, first has proven successful visualizing juices derived decayed apples pears. Consequently, holds great potential as practical tool monitoring foodstuffs, thereby contributing enhanced standards.
