Electro-enhanced solid-phase microextraction (EE-SPME) is a bright separation and enrichment technique that integrates with the electric field. It retains excellent extraction performance of SPME technology while having advantages efficient driving field special interaction between electrons in molecules material structure. Replacing conventional fibers highly conductive original EE-SPME critical for practical applications these technologies. Here, novel fiber preparation strategy was proposed to obtain porphyrin-based covalent organic framework (POR-COF) by one-step electropolymerization. Benefiting from semiconducting properties porphyrin groups, POR-COF can be spontaneously polymerized on surface under an appropriate voltage within few hours. Its evaluated phthalate esters (PAEs) food environmental samples, followed gas chromatography-tandem triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) technology. The results showed has been successfully used detection trace PAEs beverages, industrial wastewater, lake water, oyster samples high adsorption selectivity satisfactory sensitivity. remarkable are mainly attributed synergistic effect characteristics electrical parameters' control process. presented controlled design synthesis offers prospects developing

Human skin emits a series of volatile compounds from the due to various metabolic processes, microbial activity, and several external factors. Changes in concentration metabolites indicate many diseases, including diabetes, cancer, infectious diseases. Researchers focused on skin-emitted gain insight into pathophysiology In case volatolomics research, it is noteworthy that sample preparation, sampling protocol, analytical techniques, comprehensive validation are important for successful integration profiles regular clinical settings. Solid-phase microextraction techniques polymer-based active sorbent traps were developed capture compounds. The primary advantage these preparation ability efficiently targetedly metabolites, thus improving detection biomarkers associated with further polydimethyl-based patches utilized research their biocompatibility thermal stability properties. tools coupled high sensitive Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer provided potential platform volatolomes, emerging as state-of-the-art technique. Later, technological advancements, design wearable sensors, have enriched skin-based can integrate information portable platform. However, individual-specific hydration, temperature, conditions influence variations concentration. Considering subject-specific depth, time standardization, suitable may improve discovery marker Here, we summarised current progress, limitations, advances disease diagnosis, monitoring, personalized healthcare applications.

Solid phase microextraction (SPME) has emerged as a versatile sample preparation technique for the preconcentration of broad range compounds with various polarities, especially in environmental studies. SPME demonstrated its eco-friendly credentials, significantly reducing reliance on solvents. The use biocompatible materials coating recipe facilitates acceptance devices analytical chemistry, primarily monitoring pollutants such persistent organic (POPs), volatile (VOCs), and pesticides from matrices. During last few years, investigators have reported an improvement enrichment after changing recipe, geometries, sampling procedure complex Furthermore, development geometries large surface areas enhanced extraction efficiency pollutants. As miniaturized technique, reduces solvent usage, suggesting potential platform green chemistry-based research water, air, soil analysis. This review article summarizes evolution SPME, modes, application recent innovations, prospects determination pollution. advantages disadvantages comparison to other techniques been discussed here. serves valuable resource working sustainable research.
