Published: Feb. 1, 2025

Abstract Fluorescent molecular probes have gained significant attention due to their exceptional attributes, such as enhanced specificity, sensitivity, and reversibility. This review explores how organic probe molecules' fluorescence properties change when metal ions like Hg 2+ bind the receptors. The alteration in results from distinct photophysical mechanisms photoinduced electron transfer, proton energy charge excimer formation, aggregation‐induced emission, C═N isomerization etc. Besides, induce chemical reactions resulting changes structural conformation properties. As a result, this effect specifically affects signal of molecules, which is beneficial for advancing sensor technology developed detect contamination. Focusing on environmental pollution biological sample analysis, study highlights applying fluorescent techniques using chromophores heavy ions, particularly ions. Thus, dyes with modifiable functional groups ensure precise detection offering robust platform monitoring public health safety. We examine capacities, sensing mechanisms, limits, strategies, methodologies utilized. article provides insights into efficacy progress domain sensors detecting

Abstract Manufacturing a multilayer evaporator with delicate structure and removing salt accumulation during prolonged operation are challenges in seawater desalination. A flexible single‐layer salt‐rejecting monolithic porous (SRMPE) is presented that floats on the near surface of without any support structure. The hydrophilic component this network polymer modulates water association state SRMPE, achieving high evaporation rate 3.47 kg m −2 h −1 an efficiency 94.3%. With large capillary flux (14.4 L ), SRMPE exhibits superior rapid self‐cleaning by sodium chloride (NaCl) powder (33% weight) within 1.25 simulated (salinity, 3.5%) under 1 sun radiation. Furthermore, even after continuous irradiation for 12 highly concentrated brine (25% salinity), no crystallizes surface. It may stimulate creative work scientists engineers design simple, efficient salt‐rejecting, interfacial solar evaporators.

Global population growth and industrialization have exacerbated the nonrenewable energy crises environmental issues, thereby stimulating an enormous demand for producing environmentally friendly materials. Typically, biomass-based aerogels (BAs), which are mainly composed of biomass materials, show great application prospects in various fields because their exceptional properties such as biocompatibility, degradability, renewability. To improve performance BAs to meet usage requirements different scenarios, a large number innovative works past few decades emphasized importance micro-structural design regulating macroscopic functions. Inspired by ubiquitous random or regularly arranged structures materials nature ranging from micro meso macro scales, constructing microstructures often corresponds completely functions even with similar biomolecular compositions. This review focuses on preparation process, concepts, regulation methods, synergistic combination chemical compositions porous perspective gel skeleton pore structure. It not only comprehensively introduces effect physical BAs, but also analyzes potential applications corresponding thermal management, water treatment, atmospheric harvesting, CO
