Abstract Heterogeneous photocatalysis have been deemed as a versatile and colorful platform for exploring efficient transformation systems. Henceforth, the design of photocatalysts underpins wide range research interests. By virtue synthetic versatility, stability, non‐toxicity, purely organic properties, tunable semiconductive structures, remarkable visible‐light absorbance, conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs) emerged an attractive new class semiconductor materials that show great potential tackling important energy environmental challenges. Over past decade, immense efforts devoted toward construction CMPs‐based photocatalytic transformations. This review aims to summarize latest representative advances in field carbazolic CMPs, focusing on various strategies tailor‐made skeletons direct impact their charge dynamics thus performances, especially specific efficiency Scrutinizing features elucidating related principles, it is fully described how structure modification polycarbazoles could effect optical performance. Furthermore, bottlenecks need be addressed, future directions CMPs are identified area photocatalysis.
